They researched JICA&#8217;s activities and initiatives, so they went to the visit fully prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"264\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-6-1024x264.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2746\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-6-1024x264.png 1024w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-6-300x77.png 300w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-6-768x198.png 768w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-6-840x217.png 840w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-6.png 1097w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAt\nGlobal Plaza, they received an explanation of JICA&#8217;s business, had a tour of\nits facilities and experience zones, and had a presentation on international\ncooperation. The presentation on international cooperation was from an overseas\ncooperation volunteer who was involved in supporting the independence of people\nwith disabilities, a system that was not yet established in Jordan. What struck\nthe students most were his words, \u201cTo support is not a way of looking down on\npeople, but is also a way of giving back.\u201d \u201cMutual understanding is important,\nand this will eventually lead to peace.&#8221;\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2747\" width=\"190\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-7.png 426w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-7-225x300.png 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 190px) 100vw, 190px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur\nstudents made these comments, \u201cEven though I have seen information about\ndeveloping countries on TV, this was the first time I felt close to them.\u201d \u201cWhen\nI heard stories from people who have actually worked in developing countries, I\nfelt that there was something I could do to help.\u201d \u201cNow I want to support\nJICA&#8217;s activities.\u201d\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-8.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2748\" width=\"226\" height=\"273\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-8.png 352w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-8-248x300.png 248w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 226px) 100vw, 226px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt\nis important to see, experience, and listen to real people\u2019s stories rather\nthan solely through the media. The students were able to see actual examples of\n\u201cTable For Two\u201d and \u201cFair Trade\u201d, which they had studied in their textbooks,\nand they seemed to be able to realize even more the importance of international\ncooperation.
