The moment they got on the\ndeparture bus, they switched from Japanese to English. There were 5 one-hour lessons\non the first day. The program started with ice breaker activities, followed by\nspeaking training, learning about cross-cultural understanding and critical\nthinking skills, and ended with playing sports and games in English.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2nd day<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere\nwas already a lot of content from the first day, but on the second day they had\na total of 8 lessons from morning to night, and had even more English training.\nIn the morning, they studied intercultural understanding 2, logical speaking,\nand the basics of debate. The instructors were from many different countries,\nincluding France, Singapore, Malaysia, Oman, Mongolia, the Philippines, and\nJamaica, making it a true cross-cultural understanding course. The debate was held on two topics: \u201cAll\nclasses should be taught online\u201d and \u201cAll shopping should use electronic payments,\nnot cash.\u201d The students were split into four groups, and they had two pairs of\ndebates. The winning team of each pair advanced to the finals. At the end, we\nmoved to a large auditorium and held the final debate match in a formal style.\nThe final teams engaged in a heated debate match, and their persuasive opinions\nreceived applause from other students in the audience. Regardless of whether\nthey won or lost, the students looked very happy with the satisfaction of\nhaving completed the three days.
