A total of eighteen students\u2014nine from Division I and nine from Division II\u2014who had advanced through the regional, prefectural, and block-level competitions since September, gathered to deliver their final speeches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7565\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-6.png 539w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-6-300x225.png 300w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-6-482x361.png 482w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-6-80x60.png 80w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 539px) 100vw, 539px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Sensoy Ebrar from our school spoke first in the competition. As I listened to her speech, many memories came back to me: working together on her draft before summer vacation, the intensive practice that began during the summer, the reflections and revisions after the regional and prefectural contests, and the further refinements made after the Tokai\u2013Hokuriku Block Competition. Remembering how much effort she had put into her speech, I was deeply moved and nearly brought to tears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The result was <strong>first place.<\/strong> Ms. Ebrar <strong>won the national championship<\/strong>. This is the first time that Bihoku High School has produced a national champion in this contest, and it is also the first time for a student from Aichi Prefecture to win first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"723\" height=\"543\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7566\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-7.png 723w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-7-300x225.png 300w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-7-482x361.png 482w, http:\/\/cms.aichi-c.ed.jp\/kdc-mas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-7-80x60.png 80w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 723px) 100vw, 723px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Ebrar is a truly outstanding student and a great source of pride for the International Liberal Arts Course. However, she is not someone extraordinary or unreachable. Rather, she has shown us that with sustained effort in the right direction, anyone can achieve meaningful results. Her achievement will surely serve as a great encouragement to other students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through our English education, we will continue to nurture each student\u2019s individual strengths and provide support<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>so that every student can shine with confidence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the fourth and final report on the National High School English Speech Contest.
