International Course NEWS No. 71 Visit from Kalani High School Students

From October 14 to 16, 2025, eight students and teachers from Kalani High School in Hawaii visited Bihoku High School.  During their stay, the students experienced Japanese daily life through homestays and participated in classes at our school.

They joined English, mathematics, home economics, and physical education classes, gaining firsthand experience of Japanese high school life. In addition, they took part in cultural activities such as calligraphy, tea ceremony, and kimono dressing, which offered them a wonderful opportunity to learn about Japanese traditions.

At the farewell party, everyone enjoyed a festival-style event featuring taiko drum performances and bon dancing. It was a warm and memorable evening filled with smiles and friendship.

This visit was part of our short-term exchange program and followed the Bihoku Bihoku visit to Kalani High School in Hawaii in February. Through this partnership, both schools have deepened their friendship, and we look forward to continuing this meaningful exchange in the future.
